What happens on Tuesday mornings? That is when the Community Quilts team tries to organize things to be done on Thursdays. This is when we make up kits. We also welcome drop ins for drop offs or pickups, or hand quilting, or, well, any excuse will do.

What happens on Thursdays? Anything and everything quilt related. Sometimes people work on their own personal projects. There is a table that is very handy for sandwiching quilts. Often people work on (really…it’s not work when it’s so much fun!) whatever needs doing for community quilts projects…, piecing tops, piecing fabric for quilt backs, binding, labelling, cataloguing, photographing and shelving finished quilts.

We enjoy lunch together (bring our own but tea is provided). Conversation is abundant and lively. Advice is freely given. Please join us when you can! Or consider organizing an activity with some friends on a day that suits your schedule.
